Dave and his wife Cheli have been married for nineteen years and are the proud parents of daughters Kathryn and Mary. The Mosby family also includes two dogs, Sasha and Ally.

Dave was raised in Raytown, Mo, where he graduated from Raytown High School. Dave attended UCM and obtained a B.S. in Industrial Safety. Dave also has an Associate in Risk Management and is certified to teach 30 hour safety courses by the US Department of Labor. 

Professionally, Dave is a Safety Consultant with Lockton Companies.He has been in the safety consulting business for 24 years.Currently Dave serves as Assistant Vice President. His responsiblities include assisting clients with challenging risk and loss issues and developing stratagies to address them.The consultation is in the area of fire protection, product safety, employe safety, environmental and fleet safety, among others.

Charity work is a big part of Dave's family.Some of the charity activities Dave  has engaged consist of: 

• Knights of Columbus with St Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Lee's Summit. 
• KC Dictionary project where Dave delivers dictionaries annually to various elementary 3rd graders.
• 2002 Dave chaired a Kaboom Playground built in Kansas City.. 
• Host Family for seven foreign exchange students from Ukraine, Armenia, Brazil, Indonesia, Azerbiajan and South Korea.
• Formerly Dave worked as a Kansas City Chiefs RedCoater; involved in many charities , such as Junior Diabetes, MS, 3rd and Long among others.
• Locally Dave has volunteered for the Lee's Summit Social Services.
• Dave is a former Big Brother in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program. 

Daves civic life is very active. For many years he has been involved with commissions, committees,and boards of various types. Some of the civic activities are as follows:
